Silk crepe can be found at various prices. I tend to buy it from the best sale running at the time. :0 ) Dharma Trading usually has the best bolt prices. I'd recommend getting swatches from Denver for comparison since I don't know the weight on Denver's silk crepe. As for the silk wool its so expensive that a different wool blend would be more practical.
