Does anyone have this to sell? (if you don't, but have a suggestion, please read the text under the photo BEFORE commenting. Thank you!!!)

Yes, I have tried Ebay, but thank you for the suggestion.

I also own the Laughing Moon 1909-13 gown pattern. I made it, and it's lovely.

No, I can't draft my own or alter an existing pattern to look like this one.

I appreciate the tip, but I didn't care for the patterns offered on Patterns of Time or Ageless Patterns, and I cannot draft up the patterns from Janet Arnold's book.

Yes, I know it's a Big 3 and has crappy modern lines.

I still want this one *dumb grin*.

Those are adorable! I hope you find a copy--the b&w one in the middle reminds me of My Fair Lady :)

Thanks!

Indeed, I think that is what this pattern is for. Glad you saw that, too!

Kat, I think I may have a copy you could borrow if you can't find one to buy. I'm in Houston until 3/24 though, so I won't be able to check until then.

You are too sweet! Remember when you let me borrow the Titanic pattern?

I have no thought of getting to this anytime soon, so I'm not in a hurry. I'm sure one will appear from somewhere eventually :)

So are you enjoying the wonderful weather in Houston?? I'm so envious!

That is way too cute, and you are on a similar sewing and fashion 'radar'!

I predict the next big thing in goth fashion is early 20th century clothing..but I think we are several years ahead of the game! :)

Oh! Thank you for reminding me--I must post about the Ralph Lauren Spring '08 RTW collection. I came across this show recently (missed it in the summer when my computer was down), and wouldn't you know, the models all look like they're on their way to the races at Ascot! I guess main stream fashion is following your trend too :p

What size do you need? My Mom may have an extra to sell... she is bad about going wild at pattern sales and ending up with doubles or triples. I'll check for you.

LOL! I forgot to put size! The 6,8,10,12 size package is what I need. Thank you for looking!

lol, sometimes you just don't WANT to draft your own. Or sometimes I don't want to draft my own anyway. But I do. And then it sucks. Sometimes a pattern is the way to go.

Unless someone has one in their stash they're wiling to sell you you'll just have to vulch around eBay until one shows up. I had a similar problem with one of their Regency outfits, but after a year or so I eventually gave up and bought one of Heather's patterns to use as a base instead... :(

It can be hard to hunt some of these down. I just have to have patience and make sure everyone knows I'm looking. Sometimes, someone's sister's boyfriend's mother has a stash of patterns she never used, and wants to get rid of them! Luckily, I have no plan to make this up immediately, and have plenty of time to wait for it to appear.

You are lucky that you can alter a pattern!

I was mostly just making a Franken-pattern at that point. I took the top from one pattern and slapped on the skirt from the Folkwear Regency outfit. The only vaguely interesting thing I did was slash the sleeve pieces so they'd be poofy. ;)
