More costumes from Interview With The Vampire

Here are the screen shots I took of costumes in the movie. Oh, and a hot photo of Louis and Armand ;)

Yum! Speaking of film and costume, I got really lost in Bram Stoker's Dracula recently. That damned red Mina dress needs to be on my bucket list!

I was thinking of you the other day when I was looking over patterns for a bustle gown. :)
I'm getting more serious about making one but the sheer cost is a bit off putting. When we emailed last, I seem to remember you not recommending dupioni for polonaises. Is my memory correct? I'm scouting fabrics and trying to decide which will function best. :)

Hi! Dupioni is great for polonaises. Hell, it's great for just about anything...lol! Can't wait to see your project :D

Gah! Dupioni! I love the stuff!

What sort of fabric do you use for the bustle itself? I know since it's an undergarment it won't show, but it seems like a shame to use something really cheap or poor quality. I was considering using cotton sateen if I could find some at a good price...

I use a sturdy cotton to make the bustle cage. Absorbs sweat and isn't too hot :D

*giggle* Nice icon!

Thanks for the tips! I'll probably try to create a dress diary of the progress. :)

Thank you for sharing... I really need to re-watch the movie. I love the costume design for it. I can't wait to see your designs come to life!
