Close, but no cigar

I have just a few more inches to apply the bias binding and then to do the back grommets and the corset is done. However, it's too late. I need another hour to finish, and I simply don't have another hour.

I'll have to wear something else to the wedding.

It was a valiant effort!!

I hope you found another nice bodice to wear? I was so excited to see you in your new outfit, but I am confident another wonderful opportunity to wear it will be on the horizon :)

Here's wishing all the best to the newly wedded couple!

I had a backup plan. I wore something similar to how you wore your version. Lord knows, I saw myself that it was a good combination!! And I got SOOOO many compliments on the skirt!!!!

Good Try! Corsets are always rather brutal, but hopefully you can amaze us all with it some other time. ;)

What a shame, but I'm amazed that you managed to whip it up so amazingly quickly!

Thank you! I think I'll finish it today.

So did you in your silver gown!! Beautiful!

It was my first try! Gosh darn it, if only I hadn't gone out for cocktails the night before, I could have finished it. LOL!

Considering it has 56 bones, I was surprised, too!! I don't think I followed the directions quite exactly as they called for flatlining, interlining, AND lining. Isn't that one too many linings?? I ignored the interlining as I couldn't find in the directions when they were supposed to be used. It's not as if the stitching was hidden, so what's it for? Eh, who cares! It's just for me!
