LOL! I'm glad you like it! It's a red bengaline (perhaps faille?). I LOVE this fabric. I also used it to make that 18th riding jacket back in October.

They are pleats! I pleat the side fronts in one direction and the back sides get pleated in the opposite direction. Makes for the best drapery :D
