Beautiful! It's no 100% the same, but it's close enough to the base of fly fringe -- check out Historical Costume in Detail for some super close up shots of fly fringe. I'd use it!

Interesting. I don't know alot about that period and wouldn't have thought you COULD use it but apparently you can. Good to know. It's pretty, and I think it will look very nice on your gown.
