Undergarments for Chemise a la Reine?

I need to make a chemise and a petticoat for the chemise a la reine. I have a corset already. I have a pattern for the chemise, but what kind of petticoat do I need to make? Advice on how full it should be? Do I wear a bum roll?

Should they be of linen or cotton? Light weight, I assume.

I wear the following under my chemise:

shift (short sleeved)
corset
bum-pad
fluffy woollen petticoat (née blanket)
and (since last week) a muslin petticoat.

And of course stockings & shoes

Cool, thank you!

Oooh, a bum pad? What's it look like? I can make that!

Any advice on the petticoat? Fullness, shape?

Look here - I wore the petticoat last winter as "modern" skirt for dance training - the fluffy white thing:

The bumpad looks roughly like the moon, approx 3 days after being full. constructed after trial & error principe, but if you'd like, I could take pictures tonight.
