I used the Truly Victorian 382 1886 "Asymmetrical over skirt", but made it as a separate piece instead of permanently attached to the underskirt. It didn't drape quite the way I thought it would, but I used satin taffeta, so I guess I should have known it would have a crisper hand. Should make nice pleats when I use it for the Mourning Gown I posted about before.
I'll add self fabric bows made of the brocade fabric at the sides later on. I just threw a ballgown bodice from my closet on the mannequin...this isn't the one that will go with it.
