Thanksgiving shopping and sewing update

I went to the Joann's Superstore on Black Friday, armed with coupons! I picked up just essentials: black thread, buttons, a bolt of black cotton on special, and 8 yards of black PVC from Halloween clearance. Muaaaa haaaa haaaa!!! I'm finally going to make that pvc bustle gown I've always dreamed of! I think I need two more yards of pvc, though, for ruffles. I'll drive back as soon as I can. This gown will be for NYE, so I have time.

Anyway, I cut out and sewed up most of the underskirt on Saturday. It needs a waistband and the ruffle, but I wanted to wait until I knew how much fabric I had before I did those parts.
