Ruffling

Ugh!!!! I hate making and applying ruffles! The ruffling thread ALWAYS always always always breaks. Always. And my ruffling foot seems to only work with certain fabrics. I guess silk isn't one of them. The thread keeps jamming, and this time I know I didn't forget to put the presser foot down and I have a shiny new needle in.

So I'm now on my third attempt of the afternoon to ruffle this flounce. MAD.

(Ooooh...it's my lady-time, too. Maybe that's why this made me so mad. Or it's actually that frustrating LOL!)

After much cursing, I finally wrangled the flounce into ruffles and got it sewn onto the skirt.
