A few weeks ago I cut out most of the motoring duster for Jason from the new Simplicity pattern. Yesterday I finally serged the edges and put on the interfacing on the fronts. Today I cut out the pocket pieces and struggled to make the welt pockets and flap. Went ok, but I really need more practice. After that I put in the back pleat and then attached fronts to backs. Had to stop there to wait for J to come home and try it on. No sense going further if it's too big or too small. So he came home and it fit fine. Yay! But I think I'm done with that for the night because he also brought home a new gin to try: Hendrick's. It's sooo good!
Have I mentioned how much I love my new boots? They are the most glorious thing I have ever put on my feet!!
