1890's cape nearly done

I finished it last night aside from some trim I don't have in The Stash, and finishing the hems on the bottom front points.
So imagine the revers have lace trim and that there is a wide black satin ribbon closure at the top!

Date: 2007-08-29 01:36 pm (UTC)Jo-Mar fabrics in Lansdale is going out of business. I was there last night, and it's been pretty picked over already, but they had lots of lace at 50 cents/yard, also lots of their heavier brocades, as well as cording and tassels very cheap.
BTW, beautiful cape. I love looking at your work (even if I don't always comment.)
