Cyberduck is down at the moment, so I apologize that I had to upload the photos to Flickr to share the progress of my 1885 pvc bustle gown. So here is the nearly finished bodice, and un-hemmed and un-trimmed underskirt (sans overskirt for now).

So to view photos of the gown-in-progress, click the link below!

Thanks!!

I'm going for classic goth rather than steampunk for NYE. My personal steampunk look is more traditional Victorian with brassy accents.

So what about you and your collection???

That is true, I guess PVC is more of a "high goth" sort of look than steampunk. You pull both styles off beautifully though. :)

Ah, the collection... it's going pretty well. I haven't wanted to post about it here too much because I'm irrationally worried about jinxing the whole thing. :)

You can see some items for sale here: morrigannyc.etsy.com.

And you can see some by-appointment clothing pieces here (in the "Zoh" section):
http://web.mac.com/gothypants/iWeb/Zoh%20%26%20Morrigan/Home.html

Right now I'm expanding the Morrigan line to include more clothing items (for men and women). My goal is to finish up a 15-20 piece line and attend a trade show in the fall. (Crosses fingers, does a hex against losing lots of money!).

Looks AWESOME!!!!!!!

I agree with your steapunk style (more Vicky and less modern).

Even though you always look fantastic in everything you make...you'll really "shine" in this! Can't wait to see NYE pics!

Wow! Seriously, wow! I'm dreading the thought of using PVC for a couple costumes; I could never make an entire gown from it! Well done!
