I like the black, but I always want to put something down at the hem to add interest to very large 1 fabric skirts (like a different colored facing or some sort of trim ;).

Ah, gotcha. This totally could end up with trim on the bottom (lacey swags or something). I haven't even come to that stage yet. The poll was more my general choice of fabric for the project. I'll probably put up a trim poll tomorrow!
