new underskirt

Yesterday evening I made an underskirt from the TV 225 Fantail skirt. Today I put on trim! Here it is:



I had to lighten the photos to show detail, but it's jet black.

Kat, that is really beautiful! I have that pattern too, but haven't done any NF stuff yet. I'm happy to see it made up. It really has lovely lines to it. Was it easy to work with?

omg, it was sooo easy! I made up the entire skirt from the beginning in an evening. The trimming I did today. And if you leave out the "fan" of the fantail, you just get a regular trained skirt. So you really get three different options with this pattern...floor length, fantail, or regular trained.
