I need to organize my fabric stash as well. It's completely out of control.
A couple of ideas as to how to control it... 1. Give away fabrics you absolutely don't need or are no longer your style to friends. 2. You seem to have several friends that sew, how about a "fabric swap"? You can have tea and everyone can bring unwanted fabric, notions and trim to trade.
