Presenting the Victorian muff

I made this yesterday evening. Well, most of it! I accidentally sewed the ends together before I pulled the cord to the right side and had to unpick it and fix that. Opps! Anyway, here it is from Butterick B5265



Took me hours to get the pic up because J changed some settings and didn't update my Cyberduck so I could upload photos. All fixed now! Yay, Jason!

When I was a child, I used to wear a muff. NOBODY where I lived at the time was wearing muffs. You would have been so proud ;)

Purty! Love the fabric.
I have a rabbit jacket I was going to cut up and make one, but someone told me I just needed to cut off part of an arm and then close up one end, and it's already lined. That all depends on how big the sleeve is tho.

I LOVE persian lamb. This velvet was quite the find! I got it at a store that sells overstock and discontinued fabrics from all over, so each time you go, you have no idea what will be there.
