We had a great time onboard the Queen Mary this past weekend!

Here I am in my finished "Jump" dress. Thank you all SO MUCH for the compliments and support during this project. I'm really happy with the results. Perhaps some day I'll add the beaded medallions to the skirt :)

Funny story:

The night I wore the Jump dress, my sweet friend Cat took us out to a posh LA club called The Edison. Man, was it cool inside!! Anyway, there was a line of hot, young model-types waiting to get in, but because we were dressed the way we were, the bouncers let us in immediately! It was so fun to sail past the red velvet ropes with everyone looking on jealously!

I had a sneak peak on the weekend through pictures posted to Elaine's Facebook account. My fellow called me over to look at his page and some of the fashions in Elaine's post and I yelled out "that's Madame Kat!" We both agreed you looked lovely!

I've already commented on the dress elsewhere, but I wanted to tell you how pretty your hair looked. Did you do it yourself? (I have zero hair fu so am always curious when others make pretty hair! lol)

Thanks! Yeah I did my own hair. It's really just loosely pinned on top of my head with a few cabbage roses clipped in here and there for volume. I love me some volume!

Thanks for posting the pics, it was fun to do a little armchair travel and get an inside view of the gorgeous ship with all the beautiful people inside!
