Undergarments for Chemise a la Reine?

madamemodisteI need to make a chemise and a petticoat for the chemise a la reine. I have a corset already. I have a pattern for the chemise, but what kind of petticoat do I need to make? Advice on how full it should be? Do I wear a bum roll?
Should they be of linen or cotton? Light weight, I assume.
