Looks like Reconstructing History is putting out some new patterns that look really great!

I wonder if the reason for the new chemise dress is due to the large number of ladies of my acquaintance who made them this past Spring/Summer!!



I also like the Regency men's greatcoat and the ladies' Regency morning dress

Do you know anything about the Rocking Horse Farm chemise gown pattern? It's certainly cheaper!

I don't. I've used two Rocking Horse Farm patterns though, and both were extremely oversized. However, since this is just a giant tube fit with drawstrings it probably wouldn't be an issue!

It's crap. My mom made it up, the directions are bad, the construction not at all period correct and result quite ugly. I'm curious now to see if the Reconstructing History one is any better...
