Edwardian "Titanic" shoes

Ebay was kind to me yesterday! Through the generosity of the Belle Alley, I was alerted to the Ebay sale of these shoes. As they were a buy it now, I scooped them up!!



I'm very excited because they resemble Rose's "jump dress" shoes from the movie Titanic, as can be seen in the following link:

I just pray they fit. They're an 8, but in a boot I usually go with 8.5 or sometimes even 9 if they're narrow.

Well, they came. I'd prefer them a half size bigger, but seeing as I paid $50 for them, I'm going to give them a try anyway. I figure, they'll only be worn with Edwardian gowns, and most likely I won't be dancing the night away or walking miles. It's possible that after I wear them once, I'll decide they hurt too much, and offer them to you. We'll find out in July!

In the meantime, have you gotten the JB shoes?
