Corded petticoat is done!

Whew!! 20 rows of cording later, and we have an 1830's-40's corded petticoat!



Well, I mean, it isn't starched yet, so I guess it's almost done. Couldn't wait to share, though!

Sorry the lighting isn't better. We're in the middle of a thunderstorm! It was fun taking pictures on our deck in that, let me tell you.

I just used a modern petticoat for the Poe event because I didn't have time to make one, but I really should - I can see needing it for a couple of gowns! BTW, if you want to go to the Poe event next year, you're more than welcome to crash at my house. :-)

Oh, that's very nice!! I have a pattern in mind for that event, too, but I'm not sure, with school, if I can attend. Keep your fingers crossed!

And you are welcome to come to Philadelphia and crash at our place. We have a full sized air mattress. We also have 4 cats in case that matters!
